Somehow, Ag Ed/FFA must anticipate future changes that will impact schools and students...BEFORE...we are forced to make quick, radical changes in Ag Ed/FFA.
Team AgEd needs to decide how we can best accomodate the interests and needs of DIGITAL NATIVES. (I assume most high school students have never even heard of an Apple IIe...the old cutting-edge technology which trounced the Atari.)
Computer Analogy
Apple IIe adapted, and the Apple image is still strong via the iPod.
Atari did not adapt...whatever happened to the Atari company?
FFA may need to adapt its activities to remain the "Apple" of students' eyes...not the "Atari" of their eyes.
